1. General
The Editing Machine (“editingmachine.com”, “we”, or “us”) Affiliate Program is governed by these Terms and Conditions (the “Affiliate Agreement”). The Participant in the Affiliate Program (the “Affiliate” or “you”) and Editingmachine.com are parties to the Affiliate Program, and these Terms and Conditions constitute the whole agreement and understanding between them. This document is a binding contract between you and Editingmachine.com, so please read it carefully. You agree to abide by all of the terms and conditions outlined in this Affiliate Agreement by submitting your application and by using the Affiliate Program. Your affiliate account may be terminated by Editingmachine.com at any time, with or without warning, for behavior that violates this Affiliate Agreement or that Editingmachine.com business is in danger or for conduct where the use of the Affiliate Program is harmful to any other party.
Any changes or modifications will be posted by Editing Machine to www.editingmachine.com/affiliate-terms and become effective upon posting the revisions on this document.
2. Tracking
Each affiliate will receive a referral link and dashboard from Editingmachine.com. Only transactions that occur after clicking the link will be counted as referrals for the affiliate and shown in the dashboard. If the Referral Link is changed in any way, Editingmachine.com is not liable for any tracking or reporting issues that may occur.
3. Affiliate payouts and incentives
For accepted affiliates, the program will give the following payments:
- For monthly subscribers, a payment equal to 50% of the purchase price.
- 20% of the next 4 months’ transactions.
Payments are made on the 10th of every month. Transactions that are at least 30 days old on the first of the month are eligible for payment. For cash distributions, a Transferwise account and 1099 filing are necessary.
Affiliates cannot get affiliate commissions on their own accounts.
4. Termination
By sending the other party an email notice of termination, the Affiliate may immediately end their participation in the Affiliate Program. For conduct that is a material violation of this Affiliate Agreement or for conduct that Editingmachine.com, in its sole discretion, deems to be detrimental to its business or any third party, Editingmachine.com reserves the right to immediately terminate the Affiliate’s participation in the Affiliate Program. The Affiliate will forfeit any prospective or unpaid Affiliate Fees and lose access to its Affiliate Dashboard upon termination.
5. Relationship of Parties
Affiliate and Editingmachine.com work apart from one another. There is no partnership, employment, representation, agency, or joint venture relationship between the parties created by this affiliate agreement. The Affiliate is not authorized to speak or act on behalf of Editingmachine.com.
6. Modification
This Affiliate Agreement is subject to alteration or modification at any time, with or without notice, at Editingmachine.com’s sole discretion. All Affiliates will be affected by these changes or adjustments once the new Affiliate Agreement is posted to the Editing Machine website at http://www.editingmachine.com/affiliate-terms. The Affiliate is in charge of periodically reviewing this agreement to make sure that its usage of the affiliate program complies with this affiliate agreement. The Affiliate’s only option if any amendment is objectionable to it is to end this Affiliate Agreement. The Affiliate will be deemed to have unconditionally accepted any revisions if they continue to participate in the Affiliate Program.
7. Prohibited promotions
Coupon websites that rank for keywords like “EditingMachine + coupon.” PPC focuses on “infinite video editing” or the Editing Machine brand.
8. Miscellaneous
The Affiliate warrants and certifies that it is of legal age to join this Affiliate Agreement and that it is over the age of “19”. The Affiliate declares and indicates that its conduct and participation in the Affiliate Program are always in accordance with all relevant laws, rules, regulations, and governmental authority requirements. Editingmachine.com reserves the right to terminate the Affiliate’s participation in the Affiliate Program if Editingmachine.com, in its sole discretion, determines that the Affiliate’s actions or participation in the Affiliate Program violate any laws, rules, regulations, or governmental authority requirements. Editingmachine.com and the Affiliate have reached an agreement in writing, which is reflected in this Affiliate Agreement. This Affiliate Agreement replaces any previous contracts or understandings between the parties, and neither party shall be obligated by any claims or representations not stated in this Agreement.
