We reserve the right to use these recordings and any other materials submitted by you in our current or future Services, Products, or Materials, and/or in our marketing or promotional efforts, without compensation to you.

Sample Work

By default, you grant Editing Machine a non-exclusive right to publish your work in our portfolio, on social media, or through other communication efforts. To revoke this right, please notify us in writing at hello@editingmachine.com.

Disclaimer

Editing Machine strives to ensure that the availability and delivery of Website, Services, Programs, Products, and Materials is uninterrupted and error-free. However, we cannot guarantee that access will not be occasionally suspended or restricted for maintenance, repairs, or updates. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any damages or refunds should our Website, Services, Programs, Products, and Materials become unavailable or slow due to any reason.

Fees, Refunds, and No-Risk Guarantee

Fees

You agree to pay the fees specified during registration in full before Editing Machine is obligated to perform under this Agreement. By registering for services through the Website, you authorize Editing Machine to charge your payment method for the fee on each anniversary of your registration date. Your account may be suspended for non-payment. You represent that your payment information is accurate and you are authorized to use the payment instrument. Promptly update your account information with any changes.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will have access to Editing Machine services through the end of your paid billing term. To cancel, log in to your client portal and complete the cancellation form. Editing Machine may change its fees with 5 days’ notice by posting the changes on the Website.

Refunds & No-Risk Guarantee

You may request a refund if you cancel your subscription within 14 days of signing up if you feel the quality of service does not match the provided examples or the ‘representation’ of service level which was shown when placing your order. Refunds will not be issued after this 14-day period. We may refuse refund requests in cases of fraud, refund abuse, or manipulative behavior. Promotions, upgrades, add-ons, and adjustments to existing plans are non-refundable.

To qualify for a refund, you must provide clear direction during the editing process and feedback to your Account Manager or Producer.

Ownership, Trademarks & Stock

Ownership

You own all final videos, graphics, and files created during any fully paid month. Working files such as .prproj or .psd files are not provided. You are responsible for providing all content for assets under your plan.

Trademarks

You confirm that any materials provided to Editing Machine can be legally used in your assets and are not owned or trademarked by another entity. Editing Machine is not liable for any license or trademark issues related to the materials you provide.

Stock

Stock photography or media subscriptions are under a specific use license. Managed stock assets are licensed for use in specific video files created by Editing Machine. Individual assets will not be provided separately.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Editing Machine and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from your breach of these terms, use of services, or infringement of third-party rights.

Provided Assets & Output Files

Provided Assets

Growth and Unlimited plan holders are eligible for multiple assets per request, including different video resolutions and types. Assets are provided in .mp4 format and will be delivered via the Creators portal. Content can be uploaded to the client’s social media channel if requested.

Work & Delivery Output

The output is determined by the plan you signed up for. Each plan includes a specified number of videos and free short videos. Revisions are done in 24 hours but may take longer depending on the complexity.

Output Files

While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee all files will be error-free. You agree to review and proof all files for errors and notify us of any changes needed. Editing Machine is not responsible for any losses incurred from errors or omissions.

Dedicated Account Manager / Producer

Depending on the brand and service you have ordered, you may be assigned an Account Manager or Producer, who will assist with the video editing process and provide guidance on content, style, branding, and video marketing strategies.

Requests

Each request is for one piece of content up to 60 minutes long. You may request different aspect ratios, publishing, and thumbnails. Editing Machine reserves the right to adjust the request form without notice.

Confidentiality

We maintain confidentiality in all communications about your brand and business. Personal data or Confidential Information provided to us will be used in accordance with these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

What We Do With Confidential Information

We use Confidential Information for internal record keeping, to improve our services, for marketing promotions, and for communication related to our services.

Storage

Confidential Information is stored through a data management system and accessed only by those managing the information.

Confidentiality and Disclosure

Confidential Information will be disclosed only under the terms of these Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy or as required by law.

Viewing by Others

When you make Confidential Information or Other Information available for viewing by others, it can be seen, collected, and used by others, and we cannot be responsible for any unauthorized use.

How We Use Cookies

We may use cookies for standard web browser features. You can disable cookies, but it may affect your experience on the Website.

Passwords

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account. Sharing your password is prohibited. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

Non-Abuse
