Pricing Questions
Is this actually cheaper than hiring a freelance editor?
For most clients, meaningfully. A capable freelance editor in 2026 runs $30–$80 per hour, plus your time managing them, plus the inconsistency between projects. A short-form video on Editing Machine costs a few credits and arrives in 24 hours, on-brand, with revisions included. The bigger your output, the wider the gap.
Are there any hidden fees? What if a project costs more credits than expected?
No hidden fees. Every project shows its credit cost upfront before you confirm — including any complexity adjustments. You only spend what you approve.
What if I'm not happy with a video — can I get a refund?
Credits aren't refundable, but every project includes two free revision rounds — enough to refine the small stuff or rework the big stuff. Additional rounds use credits if you need to keep iterating.
Do unused credits expire?
It depends on the source. Subscription credits roll over for 60 days from when they're issued, then expire — so any credits you don't use within that window are forfeited. Credit pack credits never expire and stay on your account until you use them. What does expire on a credit pack is your platform access window, but the credit balance itself is always preserved.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades and cancellations apply at the end of your current billing cycle. No contracts, no minimums.
Subscription or credit pack — which is better value?
Subscriptions offer the best per-credit price and include continuous access, higher storage limits, more brand profiles, and priority API performance. Credit packs are ideal for one-off projects or topping up when you need extra capacity in a busy month.
What happens when my access window expires?
Your account becomes read-only — you can still view and download your files, but you can't create new projects or upload. Your credits stay on your account. You'll have a 30-day grace period before files are archived. Subscribe or buy another pack to restore full access and use your credits.
